SuperButch issue 1

SuperButch is a graphic novel in progress about a lesbian superhero in the 1940s who protects the bar scene from corrupt cops, and about the women in the community SuperButch protects.

Issue One opens in the 1980s, with two academics interviewing the elderly Lillian Lewis, in the hopes of finding out whether SuperButch was real, or merely an urban legend. In the 1940s, Lillian Lewis was a reporter in search of a great story, while trying to keep some secrets of her own...
